These are in 10" hanging baskets.Their 4' spikes can produce up to 100 3" flowers.I also have some magnificient Cymbidium Milton Carpenter 'Everglades Gold'JC/AOS which bloom regularly in Florida. They must be picked up at the nursery or at a show as the buds and flowers are so large they don't ship well.They are now:2/8/07 out of bloom and are $25.00 + shipping. I have some psychopsis Mariposa blooming on one spike @ $35. & two spikes @$40. these can bloom sequentially for a year or more.

I expect to be fully rebuilt by the end of summer 2007.(another hurricane) BILL I am going to concentrate on more Brazilian Miltonias. In Florida most people cringe when they hear "Miltonia". This is because some vendors will bring Miltoniopsis into the state & sell them as Miltonias. They are two very different species. Miltoniopsis will not tolorate Florida heat & so-- they die during July & August. People that bought them as Miltonias are therefore afraid of the word Miltonia. True Miltonias are native to Brazil and are very warm growing (they will also grow in cooler climates) but Miltoniopsis are from high up in the Andes Mountains where it is quite cool.They will not thrive in Florida and most die quickly when exposed to high temperatures. I have some of the finest seedlings from some of the finest parents and will be continuing breeding Miltonias.MOST OF OUR MILTONIAS ARE BUDDING OR BLOOMING NOW!!! (JULY, AUGUST & SEPTEMBER) I urge anyone who has had bad experiences with Miltoniopsis (Pansy Orchids) to try Brazilian Miltonias. They grow very fast; most bloom in Summer; the bloom time can be adjusted with light. Summer bloom= high light (cattleya light) Fall blooming = more shade. You can grow specimin plants very quickly. I have seen Miltonias in 8" pots with 50 to 100 flowers on them.
