You can buy Oncidiinae Intergenerics from any of the "broker Growers" who buy from others & re-sell. But we specialize in them & breed them. Due to 3 hurricanes we are behind schedule in our breeding program. BUT WE HAVE SOME "SUPER PLANTS" Check them out !!!
I expect to be fully rebuilt by the end of summer 2007. BILL I am going to direct my efforts to: Brazilian Miltonias; Unique, one of a kind seedlings and continue with 'clones of the better Oncidiinae on the market I will also (eventually ) have 'clones of my own seedlings that either get awards or I feel are outstanding enough to be meristemmed. We have 5 plants that have gotten awards that we will be 'cloning this year. I started as a hobby that I intended to grow into a full time business. First mistake was to start on residential property. I discovered that, while I could grow plants on my property, I could not sell them from here nor could I employ anyone else to work here. So I started doing shows, later opened a retail store on the main highway. Then another store in Boca Raton which lasted eight years. The problem in Boca was the four hour round trip six days a week. So I sold the Boca store and began doing shows again.
I now do twenty + shows per year and am looking for more. I do AOS-sponsored Society shows as well as others. I ALSO ACCEPT SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS AT ORCHID SOCIETIES AND GARDEN CLUBS.I SPEAK ON "GROWING ONCIDIINAE INTERGENERICS' BUT ANSWER QUESTIONS ON ALL GENERA.IF YOU CLICK ON "LABS/SHOWS" YOU WILL SEE THE LATEST ROUND OF SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS LISTED NEAR THE BOTTOM UNDER "HAPPENINGS". I have been growing and selling orchid plants for 35 years. I have grown most of the popular genera but finally settled on Oncidiinae as they grow fast and bloom often. I DO HAVE A LOT OF SHOWS (want more) but I can speak at most societies as they don't meet on weekends. I do not have a fee as such. I leave it to the inviting entity what they feel is fair. I have been known to turn down invitations where the society doesn't seem to realize the costs associated with such matters. But I have accepted far more than I've turned down. I do like to bring plants for sale. Questions? Call: 772-778-1928 or email:william-30529@msn.com I am currently breeding in the Oncidiinae group, more on that may be found on our Lab Page.
